I was recently given the opportunity to trial some Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair products for review. Being in your 40’s with a five year old makes one even more aware of keeping aging skin at bay, and while my focus here is not on reviews, I will do them occasionally if it is a product I might look up a review on myself. Anti-aging skincare products vary hugely in quality, and pricing does not always reflect effectiveness.
Juice Beauty is an organic skin care line, which has a number of lines appropriate for different skin types. I was sent three products from the Stem Cellular Repair line to try.
Stem Cellular Repair Moisturizer: A proprietary blend of fruit stem cells infused into a vitamin C and resveratrol grapeseed rich formula deeply penetrates the skin to repair DNA damage and encourage new cell growth to aggressively firm and eliminate wrinkles. Antioxidant-rich fruit juices, fat-soluble Vitamin C and plant oils hydrate and improve elasticity for lasting, advanced age defying results. ($65)
Stem Cellular Repair Eye Treatment: A proprietary blend of fruit stem cells and a high concentration of fat soluble Vitamin C works at the cellular level to repair skin DNA damage and encourage new cell growth to aggressively firm and eliminate dark circles and fine lines around the eyes. Antioxidant-rich fruit juices and plant oils hydrate and improve elasticity for lasting, advanced age defy results. ($45)
Stem Cellular Repair Booster Serum: This ultra-light gel serum is power packed with an optimum dose of Juice Beauty’s proprietary blend of fruit stem cells that boosts the skin’s ability to regenerate and accelerates cell turnover. Formulated to enhance the performance of the Stem Cellular Repair Moisturizer by improving its ability to penetrate the skin and maximize the results at a cellular level to increase dermal firmness and eliminate deep wrinkles. ($75)
My Results from Using Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair :
The packaging of these skin care products seems to be designed to dole out the product in small squirts, and avoid contaminating the remaining product. This is smart, and the Booster and Eye Treatment containers worked great, but the Repair Moisturizer gave me some trouble. It clogged and only after shaking it around vigorously and pumping the button a great deal, did I get it working again. It did work alright. after that though, perhaps it was an air bubble.
I loved the fresh scent of these products. They are pleasant and citrusy, not perfumey. The products are also non-greasy, so this line would be an excellent choice for those with somewhat oily skin. I don’t have oily skin at all, but hate it when skin products are greasy feeling, so I appreciated this.
The Stem Cellular line made my skin particularly soft, and you can feel it tightening your skin almost immediately. The products go on light, and dry quickly so they work well as a daily regime under make-up (not that I wear make-up everyday).
My Usage: I’ve used this line almost exclusively for a month now. I have still been using a cream style under eye product occasionally, since I personally need extra moisture in that area. I also used a glyco peel a couple times. I’ve been using both of these for quite some time, prior to trialing the Juice Beauty products, so skin changes reported, are due to the products reviewed.
Verdict: In my opinion, the Stem Cellular Repair line is effective, especially in providing a “fresher” look, as it tightens and softens the skin without being oily. The pleasant refreshing scent was also a nice bonus. If you are looking for certified organic skin care, Juice Beauty is certainly worth a try.
