raw sugar

teaspoon
Kosher salt

cinnamon

milk
or nutritional drink

vanilla

whole wheat flour

baking soda

melted butter
Instructions
Peel & core the apple. Dice small, then stir in sugar, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
Preheat your waffle iron.
Beat the milk (or nutritional drink) and vanilla into the egg.
Mix in the flours and baking soda. Once batter is smooth add the apples and melted butter. Stir until evenly mixed.
Bake in waffle maker according to manufacturer directions, and personal doneness preference.
