These Penguin Painted Rocks are a fabulous Christmas rock painting craft. I love that they fit in so well with the holiday without screaming Christmas.
Using an angled fine tip paint brush, paint the surrounding shape of each the penguins in black (Black Tie) as shown. When happy with the shape, paint the perimeter and back side of the rocks fully in Black Tie.
Dip the back end of your fine tip paint brush in Black Tie and dab the end on to the rocks for the circular shaped eyes. Once fully dry they are ready to display or gift!
Protect work surface with a sheet of newspaper or parchment paper.
Wash the rocks and let them dry completely before painting.
Allow paint to fully dry between steps and when changing to a new color.
Repeat with as many coats as needed to achieve desired coverage.
