Orange Salsa is a fun twist on this popular condiment, that goes great with seafood and grilled meats.
This Mandarin Orange Salsa Recipe stemmed from my local grocer having large bags of sweet seedless Mandarin oranges on sale this week. Most were devoured as is, but by the second bag, I started experimenting a bit. This simple recipe was my favorite result & it is a terrific way to add brightness to a winter plate.
Mandarin Orange Salsa is a great topping for seafood, especially grilled fish or shrimp. It has some heat to it, but the Asian flavors and sweetness of the Mandarin oranges keeps the fire in check somewhat. It is quite quick to prepare so I suggest making the salsa as needed.
