This easy Snowman Dip is the perfect last minute holiday appetizer. It literally takes 5 minutes to prepare.
How to Make a Snowman Dip
Let's make this fun but super quick Snowman Face Ranch Dip. No cooking skills required!
What you Need
Here is everything you will need to make this easy holiday dip.
- 16 ounce sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Ranch Dressing Mix (or one packet)
- olives
- baby carrot
You will also need a round white bowl to serve, a whisk, spatula and a mixing bowl.
Preparing
Start by dumping the sour cream and ranch mix into a medium mixing bow. Whisk together.
Transfer to the serving bowl with spatula and smooth out surface.
Place the baby carrot in center for carrot nose, then arrange olives to create eyes and mouth.
While it is best to chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving, it can be served immediately in a pinch. Simply cover top with plastic wrap before refrigerating.
Variations
While I'm a big believer in keeping things simple, the snowman dip is easy to adjust.
- For a thicker dip, swap half the sour cream for softened cream cheese.
- If you prefer a thinner dip, swap half for mayonnaise.
- Greek yogurt is a great swap to boost protein.
Serving Snowman Dip
Serve the dip with fresh cut veggies, potato chips, crackers, pretzels or tortilla chips. I would even dunk some Air Fryer Pierogies in this! Shown with star shaped cut out baked tortilla chips.
Storing
If well wrapped or sealed in an airtight container, the dip will last up to a week in the refrigerator (assuming it has not been left out for any extended period of time). I do not recommend freezing the dip.
This Christmas Caprese Salad and these Star Shaped Parmesan Cheddar Crackers would also be great choices for your holiday spread!
I hope this wildly easy dip comes in handy for you this holiday season. If you are looking for some other options for a snowman themed spread, try my Snowman Pretzels or Easy Snowman Cupcakes.
