Mummy Hot Dogs are perfect Halloween party food. They are great appetizers that take little time to prepare and the Halloween pigs in a blanket aren't too ghoulish to eat.
These Mummy Hot Dogs are easy to make (as you can see below) and sure to be a hit with the kids at your Halloween Party. Even if your child isn't a hot dog fan (Lil' Foodie isn't), they can enjoy munching on the "wrappings" of the hot dog mummies. These can even be wrapped before hand and baked off during the party. If you want to bake then before the party. I suggest waiting to add the eyes to your pigs in a blanket mummy snacks until you reheat them.
How to Make Mummy Hot Dogs
What you need: hot dogs, cheese, canned crescent rolls and candy eyes.
Pretty easy looking, right? Once the hot dogs are mummy wrapped in crescent dough, just bake them until golden brown & add a small bit of cheese at the end to stick eyes to.

Can I make these ahead of time? Would I make and bake them, and then reheat just before party time? Or make them and wait to bake them until 20 minutes before party time?
