This Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip with Avocado is a hearty healthy dip for veggies or grilled meats. It is also nice as a avocado yogurt salad dressing or sandwich spread.

Avocado Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip
I came up with this Greek yogurt ranch dip with avocado while I was working on my copycat of the avocado lime ranch Chick fil a salad dressing. This thick creamy avocado Greek yogurt dressing/dip, was an attempt at utilizing healthy ingredients in that recipe. While it wasn't a close match to that dressing, it was delicious in it's own right. I adore it as a healthy dip!

The dip is perfect for dunking fresh vegetables into.
Make the Avocado Ranch Dip Recipe
Making this avocado ranch Greek yogurt dip is super easy. Here's how to do it.
The printable recipe card can be found below.
Ingredients for the Dip
Here is all you need to prepare the dressing.

- 1 large ripe avocado
- ¼ cup avocado oil (or olive oil)
- 3 tablespoon Ranch seasoning
- zest of ½ a lime
- juice of one lime
- ¼ cup loose fresh cilantro (just trim thick ends of stems, leave whole otherwise)
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
- 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- fresh ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoon water
Note: This is a little more tangy than the Chick fil a version of this avocado lime ranch, if that is what you are shooting for swap the Greek yogurt for sour cream and add an extra tablespoon of water in place of ½ the lime juice.
Preparation
Making a batch of this avocado dip/dressing only takes a few minutes.

Scoop the avocado into to blender. Scoring it first may make this a little easier.

Zest ½ of the lime before squeezing.

Add the other ingredients into the blender/food processor container. A citrus squeezer may make getting the juice from the lime without seeds easier. Toss the cilantro in with just the larger stems removed.

Pulse until the dip is smooth, then scoop into a container and let it chill in the refrigerator for 2 or more hours before serving. You can serve it right away, but it will be better after a few hours.
Serving
This yogurt dip is not only fabulous with fresh veggies, dunk yummy stuff like homemade Chili's Southwest Egg Rolls, Ranch Pretzels, tortilla chips or air fryer Sweet Potato Fries in it too! Variations
- Garlic lovers can toss a clove or two of roasted or fresh garlic into the blend.
- Add other fresh herbs to the creamy dip. A little parsley, chives, basil, dill or French tarragon would be nice choices.
Storing
Store in the fridge in an airtight container or wrapped tightly with plastic wrap for up to 3-4 days.
