Seasoned sour cream is a delicious dipping sauce, perfect for dunking a potato skin appetizer, fresh veggies, waffle fries or air fryer pierogies as I have here. The recipe is a copycat of the famous Champps seasoned sour cream served at their restaurants.
This mildly spicy seasoned sour cream recipe gets a flavor boost from the the medley of spices added. The sour cream dip tastes so much better than plain sour cream. It's great on so many foods, it is likely to become one of you go-to dip recipes, that you will end out making it over and over again!
What is Seasoned Sour Cream Like?
If you are wondering what seasoned sour cream sauce is comparable to, it is a sour cream and mayonnaise based dip with a wide array of seasonings in it. While not as sweet, and a bit thicker, it is somewhat similar to Yum Yum sauce. It's a bit akin to Fry sauce as well, but doesn't have mustard in it. While It doesn't really taste much like tartar sauce, it would make a great stand-in if you aren't super keen on that condiment.
